Strengthening Emotional Foundations
GrowWell is a European cooperation project focused on advancing Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) in early childhood education.
Implemented between 2025 and 2027 under the Erasmus+ Programme (KA220-SCH), the initiative supports preschool educators and parents with structured, practical resources that strengthen children’s emotional resilience, communication, and well-being.
Well-being is foundational — and it requires shared intention.
Why Shared Support Matters
Children’s emotional development is shaped by the environments around them.
When guidance at school and support at home align, children experience greater stability, confidence, and belonging.
GrowWell addresses the need for a coordinated approach to emotional learning — strengthening collaboration between educators and families and building a shared understanding of well-being.
Consistent support builds resilience.
Building Practical Guidance
Each element is designed to be usable, adaptable, and grounded in real early childhood contexts.
GrowWell is developing a comprehensive set of resources, including:
- A framework of 12 Social-Emotional Learning Pillars
- A multilingual SEL Toolkit with animated videos and practical implementation materials
- Training modules for educators
- Workshops for parents
- A sustainable digital resource space ensuring long-term accessibility
- Policy recommendations informed by implementation and evaluation
Working Together Across Europe
GrowWell brings together organisations from Croatia, Ireland, Serbia, and Belgium, combining expertise in preschool education, parent engagement, research, publishing, and digital development.
This collaboration ensures that the project’s resources remain credible, inclusive, and applicable across diverse educational systems.
GrowWell is co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Programme.
